Hi I'm Dan

I'm a Mormon. I am a Respiratory Therapist that enjoys motorcycles, fishing, and visiting the family.

About Me

I grew up moving a lot, about 20 times from being born to graduating from high school. I served a mission in Ontario Canada. I am married with four boys and one girl. We've lived in the same town for almost 17 years and all of the kids graduated from the same high school. The kids are all married and we love to travel to go see them. Yes, all but one moved away. I work in a small community hospital as a Respiratory Therapist and enjoy it. We are looking at retiring, spending time with the family as it gets larger and larger and serving the Lord. My wife and I enjoy riding our Goldwing with other friends. My daughter labeled us the Bumble Bee Gang, because one of us has a yellow bike, another a white, and I have a black one. Life keeps getting better and better.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born and raised in the church I had to find it's truth for myself. I am an active member because I have gained a trust and relationship with the Lord that gives me direction and makes a mixed up world simpler. I have learned to trust Him with myself, family, and friends. There are times that I don't know why He directs me one way or another, but the Lord has never led us astray. With the Lord in my life, I never knew I could love, be loved, and be as happy as I am now.I find great comfort in God's plan, the scriptures and a Prophet on the earth today. It frightens me to think of living any other way.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Church by working with a Ward's (a congregation) leaders and have been given the chance once a month to speak at other Wards. I have several families that I visit monthly to serve them if the opportunity arises. The scriptures are my guide book and I work at remaining teachable by the Holy Ghost.
