Hi I'm Stephanie

I am a wife, a mother, a teacher, a friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First, I am a wife and a mother of five (4-boys, 1-girl). I have my college degree in Elementary Education. I feel like so much of what I learned in college has helped me to be a better mother. It is so important to me to make the environment in my home a place where my children can thrive, feel nurtured, and especially I hope they feel unconditionally loved. I am so grateful I get to be a stay-at-home mom. My favorite thing to do is go on dates with my awesome husband. I love spending time with family and friends. Although I feel like a taxi driver with all the places my kids need to be sometimes-I do love watching them play sports or perform in any way. I enjoy reading, playing tennis, running, water and snow sking , going shopping, watching movies, and gardening. I just enjoy life and I am grateful for each day.

Why I am a Mormon

As a youth I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true. I knew that if the Book of Mormon was true then Joseph Smith was a prophet and that this was God’s church. I felt the Lord touch my heart and my mind in a way that I knew he was answering me. From that experience and many others like it since I can’t help but feel my heart swell with warmth and love toward the truths and the understanding of spiritual things with which he has blessed me. I am a Mormon because I believe the things that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches are true.

How I live my faith

I simply try to live the way I believe God wants me to live. I pray and read scriptures by myself and with my family each day. Doing this daily reminds me of what is most important and helps me keep my priorities straight. It also helps me feel God’s love in my heart. I try to keep His commandments, especially his commandment to Love one Another. I look for opportunities to help others in any way I can. I try to be a loving wife and mother. I try to put my families’ needs as my highest priority. I go to church each week and help in any way I can. My husband and I have been asked to serve in many busy callings (or jobs) in the church. I have had so many great experiences as I have done these jobs and supported my husband as he has served. I know each night as I pray that Heavenly Father loves me and he knows I am trying my very best. I hope someday I can look back on my life and see that the world a little better place because I was here.
