Hi I'm Jennie

I grew up in Idaho. I am a mother of 3 great kids. I am a wife to my best friend. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up at the base of a mountain in Idaho. We chopped our own firewood, plowed our driveway with a makeshift piece of wood with edges on it pulled behind a 4x4, and helped build a house in the woods. My brother ,three sisters and I shared our lives together in a loving happy home. We laughed together, played together, and enjoyed our lives together. I Ran track at school, built hundredreds of snowmen/snowforts, was a lifeguard, hiked the mountain to pick huckleberries, was on the drill team with my sister, went to girls camp, tried to build a pool with a tarp, cut down our own christmas trees (always to big), rode bikes, and cheered at as many of my brothers wrestling meets as I could. As far back as I can remember I always felt the desire to have spirituality in my life. Being close to God was always something that I wanted and something that I needed. I grew up in a Mormon home, but came to a point in my high school years where I needed to know if the things my parents and church leaders taught me were just really great things or Eternal truths of God. As I searched and prayed for truth I found that what I had was the truth. That God does lead us to truth and allows us to know these truths for ourselves

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have come to know that there is truth in this world. That God does reveal this truth to us and we can know for a sureity that what we have learned is true. I am the type of person who wants to know truth, who analizes things and knows the difference between fact and theory. There is a lot in this world that is theory, but we can know real true facts, facts about God and his plan for us. I love knowing that!!

How I live my faith

I live each day trying to be a faithful member of Jesus Christs church. I pray and feel of the great love God has for me, my husband, and children. My family and I read scriptures together, we talk about Jesus Christ. We attend church every sunday where I teach 18 months-11year olds music. I get the wonderful opportunity to teach songs about Jesus Christ to many kids. We have family night every week, and try to support eachother in whatever things we do. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
