Hi I'm Sonja

I'm a daughter, sister, auntie, hair stylist, master esthetician, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel! I love hiking and kayaking, cloudy days and thunder storms, 4-wheeling, mud volleyball, roller coasters and traveling. I love ice-cream, pickles and chips & salsa, I love game nights and long laughs, I love being with those I love. I am in the middle of 7 siblings. (Yes, I suffered from middle child syndrome growing up :)) - But I got through that and absolutely LOVE my family. I don't know what I would do without them! I love my friends, I love my clients, I love people! I owned a salon and spa and absolutely LOVED it! I love helping people feel better about themselves by helping them see their best qualities and feel beautiful from the inside out. But most importantly I love GOD! I left my dream as an owner to fulfill a bigger purpose, and that is to help others come unto Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have no idea where I would be if I didn't decide to put God above all. Making that decision was the best decision I ever made. I realized that he knows me, loves me, and wants me to be happy. He knows me better than anyone and I know if I put my trust in Him than I will be happy, and will not be lead astray. He is my rock, my foundation in which I build my entire life. I am so grateful for the trials and challenges that I have had in my life that have caused me to choose for myself light over darkness. He is love, he is happiness. And I know that if I involve him in all that I do than I can't go wrong! I also will have love, and happiness! He is my insurance policy in which I live my life. He has shown the way and I try my best each and every day to follow him. I have been down both roads and it is a far better life to have faith and believe, and eventually know. My perspective on life, and people, and eternity continues to grow. He is the way, the only way to peace in this life and eternal life in the world to come. I will forever be indebted to him.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a full-time missionary, so I talk, eat, breathe and sleep the gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ. I took the biggest leap of faith into complete darkness not knowing the outcome but I have yet to be disappointed with my decision. It has been the hardest of times and the best of times, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I love talking with people and helping them feel the love that our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ has for them, individually.
