Hi I'm Joyce

I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, full time worker, chronic illness participant and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Been married for 47 years. We have 5 children and 22 grandchildren. I've enjoyed makeing wedding and specialty cakes, quilting and have a vinyl cutting machine to decorate my home and supply vinyl letters to friends and neighbors. I work as a clerk in a municipal court and love the people I work with.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young child our mother read us Bible stories every night before bed. My sisters and I wondered why there wasn't a prophet on the Earth today like Moses, Noah or Samuel. When my friend said she had joined a church that had a living prophet--I knew instantly it was true. Other principles that rang true in my heart were eternal marriage and that families are truely forever and that the leaders of our congragations are not paid. I'm so greatful the Holy Ghost has born witness to my soul that the Church of Jesus Christ as He established it when He was on Earth has once again been restored and we can enjoy the blessings of following in His way!

How I live my faith

I've served the Lord by serving His children for the past 40 years in the young children's, youth and adult programs at church. With 5 children I've always had an opportunity to serve in the community as PTA president at the high school, helped organize and volunteered a number of years in a private school for Dyslexic students, room mother (forever!) and Little League team mother (just short of forever).
