Hi I'm Dallin

I'm a native of Arizona and I love my family. I love to be physically active, and explore a variety of hobbies. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young, twenty-year-old, recently married, college student trying to scratch out a living in these difficult times. Progressing towards a general associates degree, I still o not know what I want to do, but believe an education is very important. I love to learn, especially about mechanical things. I love to find out the way things tick and to try and create my own little gadgets. I love running and riding by bike, and spending time with my wife. When my wife and I are together, we are just happy, and it doesn't really matter what we are doing. I love Arizona, because it is a great state with wonderful weather. Though it can be blistering hot, it enables me to participate the sports and activities I love, all year round.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon is not because of one singular event, but a string of events. Starting with the fact I grew up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It has been a great blessing to have been born an raised in an LDS family. I feel like my parents passed on their persepctive of eternity in our family, and emphasized making wise choices. I attribute the many good choices I made to my parents teaching me early on the differnce between right and wrong, and to try and follow the Saior's example. Feeling the nuturing spirit of the Lord throughout my life has lead me down a path I have been happy to walk. It is not always easy, but it is always worth it. I know when I make mistakes, My Father in Heaven is there for me, to forgive me and help me return to the right path. The one that leads back to his Kingdom. I am a Mormon because I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me. I know they want me to return and live with them again. I know I can live with my family for eternity if I continue to follow the Savior.

How I live my faith

One of the favorite ways I get to live my faith is by teaching. Currently, my wife and I teach teh 3-4 year olds in our congregation. They are sweet spirits, and it is easy to see they still have a heavenly glow about them! The simple lessons we teach them each week remind me the little things i can do to be more like the Savior. Another thing that helps me live my faith is reading daily from the scriptures. Studying Christ's life from the New testament helps me learn more about Christ's life, and halps me to follow his example. Reading from the Book or Mormon also helps me to Follow the Savior, and each time I read from its pages, I feel teh spirit of God, and know his love for me.
