Hi I'm Ruth

I grew up in Washington. I design modest swimming suits. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student studying fashion design. I love to cook, play the piano, read, sew, and alter formals to make them modest. Baking bread is one of my favorite parts of cooking. I love looking up new recipes and trying them with my roommates. I also enjoy participating in indexing and family history.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the difference in my life that comes from my faith. I love to read the scriptures to find out more about the life of Jesus Christ. I was raised a member of the church, but I have learned about it for myself and I know that I can make a difference in the world. I have read the Book of Mormon, prayed about it, and felt it to be true. I believe that Jesus Christ is my savior, that he died to atone for my sins. I have felt his love in my life. I am so grateful for our belief in eternal families and the resurrection. I believe that I can become like him someday and learning about him gives me a chance to grow spiritually.

How I live my faith

I spend time reading the scriptures each morning and learning more about Christ. I also find hymns to sing at church each week. I am preparing to serve a mission in a few months to share what I know about Christ with those who are looking for the truth.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that our families are eternal in nature. We have the opportunity to be sealed together for eternity and that family relationships do not have to exist only to death. Show more Show less
