Hi I'm Miranda

I attend Georgia Tech. I am married to an RM. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in college right now and I recently got married. I love to laugh and play outside. My husband and I are basically big kids. I am also a serious worker. I set goals and strive to achieve them. I try to stand tall in the face of adversity and I strive to succeed. I know that attitude is everything. That being said, every day can be the best day this life as long as optimism is maintained. I love making new friends. I love learning. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have lived my life in righteousness as well as away from the straight and narrow path. Knowing both sides does not necessarily make it easier to do what I know is right, but it certainly gives me strength to. Learning and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ helps me every day. It makes every day better, every sunrise and sunset more beautiful, every smile brighter, and every encounter beyond compare. It helps me through difficult times. It answers my many questions. The Gospel is such a great comfort to me. Knowing that we have a Father in Heaven that loves us all individually and cares for us, that He is no respecter of persons, and that He is just and merciful. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a place of hope and love. I have found better friends there than anywhere else. True friends. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be a good example to those around me. I help others who stand in need. I search out opportunities to help and serve by visiting teaching. I smile and try to let my optimistic attitude shine through to all around me. I let those around me know of my morals and values so that I will never be put in a compromising or uncomfortable situation. I display paintings and sculptures of Christ in my home and welcome guests warmly. I have a Book of Mormon by my bed, in my car, and on my desk (usually to prompt people to ask questions.) I invite people to church activities. I help teach the youth on Sundays and strive to make it interesting for them so that they, too, may know and share the Gospel to others. I try to help the missionaries every chance I get.
