Hi I'm Matt B

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I gew up in Mesa, AZ. I served a mission in the Indiana Indianapolis mission. I'm going to BYU and majoring in finance. My dream career is to manage wealth for pro athletes: a "financial trainer." Im not ashamed to admit that Im a city boy and appreciate living near where there's a lot happening (want to live in San Diego, LA, or Orange County areas...Phoenix is pretty good, SLC is slowly growing on me). Im an ESPN fanatic and keeping up with my teams. My favorite sport to watch is college football, and I follow that more than others. I am a huge BYU football fan and my other teams are the Diamondbacks, Suns, and the Cardinals. My second home is the gym. You lift? Yea I am one of those guys. Im there 5 times a week trying to get huge/buff, and drinking lots of protein to help me do so :)

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church. Several people I went to high school with came from various Christian backgrounds. I learned about how important the Restored Gospel really was. It is remarkable how many lost truths have been revealed to our modern day prophets. I always knew the Church is true and that God still speaks to His children. I enjoy reading the Book of Mormon because it can apply to anyone at any point in their lives, and it truly testifies of Jesus Christ. I continue to follow the gospel because I know it will bring lasting happiness and security of knowing who I am, what I am doing, and where I am going. Thats why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by being a regular member. I served a full-time mission in the Indiana Indianapolis mission. Awesome learning experience, and it's has been great teaching people about the gospel. During high school, I attended seminary. Before my mission during my first year of college, I attended institute. Aside from being a missionary, I live my faith by trying to be a good example. When people ask me about the Church, I talk openly about what we believe and what I know to be true. I love discussing scriptures such as the Bible and the Book of Mormon with people. Im happy to answer any questions people have about the Church or gospel. I like inviting friends to activities such as church basketball and institute activities. I wish I would have invited friends to activities more in the the past.
