Hi I'm Celia

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Celia. I live in the Northwest area of the United States. I'm married to a wonderful man, and I have six grown children and 5 grandchildren. My family means everything to me. I love music, and enjoy singing in choirs and playing the piano and organ. I also enjoy reading, cooking, sewing, gardening, and planning family vacations.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Everything about the church serves to strengthen my relationship to my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He suffered and and died for me and all people everywhere. I love how His gospel gives me a better perspective on life and how to deal with the challenges that come my way. I am thankful for the perfect life and teachings of Jesus Christ, which serves as an example of how I should be living. The Book of Mormon is my favorite book of all time. I have read it over and over and never tire of it. I am so grateful that our church is led by a living prophet and apostles, whose words I cherish. I know that through the prophet Joseph Smith, the Lord's true church was organized and restored. I am also grateful for our temples, where families can be sealed together as an eternal unit.

How I live my faith

I love serving in our church. I have had many different opportunities to serve, such as teaching early morning seminary to teenagers, working in our women's organization and our children's organization. I have directed choirs, sung in choirs, played the piano and organ for church services. I have planned cultural arts programs for our congregations. It is wonderful to build friendships and learn to love and care more deeply about others through church service.
