Hi I'm Jodi

I'm a military wife, I have a degree in radiology, I love to mountain bike, I'm a stay at home mother of three and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outdoors. I love to do things that are thrilling like rappelling off of huge cliffs or cliff jumping off of sort of huge cliffs or mountain biking down not so huge cliffs. I love my family more than anything. We have fun together jet skiing, camping, hiking and playing soccer. I am a mother to three beautiful daughters and I have a wonderful husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember playing church basketball as a youth. It was so much fun, and I realized then and there that I liked the Mormon church! I felt like I belonged and that people cared about me. I participated in many youth activities that gave me the same feelings. Each Sunday I enjoyed being with my friends at church as we learned about Jesus Christ and His teachings. My belief in Jesus Christ grew stronger over time. This church has given me so much strength, faith and hope to handle the trials I have faced as an adult. I am so grateful to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I love to serve and help others. At church I have taught people using the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Their ages range from 18 months old to 100 years old! I've helped plan activities for young children, teenager's, and for adults. I enjoy taking meals to families who have been ill or just had a baby. If I hear that someone is just having a bad day I know that food can help lighten their load. Heavenly Father knows everybody and knows of their needs. I can be an instrument in His hands to help out people in need of comfort. The closer I am to Heavenly Father and Jesus the easier it is for them to communicate with me the things that I need to do. I try to feel close to them by praying, and reading the Book of Mormon. Then I love to sit quietly and ponder or think about what I've read in the Book of Mormon. I love how this makes me feel. My mind feels clear and my heart feels warm and tender. Then thoughts and ideas come to me. This is how Heavenly Father communicates with me.
