Hi I'm Karina

I'm from the Great Northwest, I'm a photographer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost I'm a wife and mother! I have been married to my eternal companion for many years now and I'm so grateful to be navigating this life with such a worthy man. We have 4 beautiful children and they are the light of our lives. I am so grateful that the Lord has entrusted me with the job of raising them. I am also a photographer. I have loved photography since I was a small child. My wonderful Mother saw this desire in me and bought me my first camera at age 8. She fostered this love of mine as she raised me and encouraged me to grow and learn. I studied hard in high school and in college to learn all I could about the photography world. I decided to put that love on hold for another sort of love, raising a family. As I watched my 4 kids grow I never lost my love and continued to learn and develop my talent. When the time was right I was blessed to start my own business. I now enjoy the role of owner of a growing photography business. I am so blessed to spend my day creating lasting memories for families. What a joy it is to share in many incredible events in my clients lives! I can't tell you the joy I feel while standing behind a camera capturing moments between bride and grooms, mother and newborn child or an emerging high school senior. I'm so very BLESSED!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is no doubt in my mind that this gospel is true. I was raised by parents who loved the Lord and taught me morals and values. At the age of 15, I decided I needed to know for myself what was true. I decided to read the Book of Mormon. As I finished the last page and got to my knees, I prayed and ask God if this book was true. I was overcome with the power of the Holy Ghost. He testified to my heart and mind that it was true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he did indeed restore the true gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth in our day.

How I live my faith

I have served my church in many ways from the little children to the youth and within the women organization. While I have enjoyed each area of service my heart is with the women of our church. I love them dearly! I am currently serving as a counselor over the women's program in my area. I find great joy in teaching and serving my sisters in the gospel. I love to learn from them and grow through their testimonies and their examples.
