Hi I'm Chelsea

I am an Arizona native. I am a wife and mom. I LOVE being with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the same square mile my whole life, but I loved it. I met my husband when I was 13. His family lived 5 houses down from mine. We started dating when I was 18. I sent him on a mission and wrote him the whole time! We were married not long after he got back, and now all this time later here we are with a family. My husband is a pilot and I am a hair stylist. I work full time at a salon, and always over time as a mom. I love being a mom. It is the hardest and yet most rewarding job. I love my daughter so much and am so blessed to have her in my life. The balance between work and family can be hard. There is no denying that. However, I am truly grateful to be a Mormon. It has helped me to keep my priorities straight. Or at least close to straight. In my spare time I love to read. I love a good book, and on the other hand, I enjoy magazines and catching up on the latest celebrity gossip. We all have our vices right?? I love food, I love to laugh, and I LOVE spending time with my family. I truly wouldn't change anything about my life. I am truly blessed and am so grateful for the road I've taken to get here.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love having the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the peace and comfort I receive knowing about the Plan of Salvation. Knowing that I can not only be with my family while here on Earth, but also forever after this life. I remember very vividly when I was 16 years old sitting at a young women Evening of Excellence watching a video about our Savior Jesus Christ and being overcome with the comforting feeling from the Holy Ghost. I knew without a doubt for myself that Jesus Christ was my older brother, and that my Heavenly Father loves me and is real. I am so grateful that I was able to have that moment and know for a fact of this knowledge. Now as a mom, I try to share this knowledge with my daughter. I want her to grow up knowing about the sacrifice our Savior made. More importantly I want to give her all the help I can so she will have the tools to get through this life. Also, so she can for herself, as I did, receive her own testimony of this true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am so grateful for the Atonement of our Savior. That he took on my sins, so I can be forgiven of my short comings. I am by no means a "perfect Christian." We all have our days. However, knowing that I can repent and be forgiven makes living each day even better. I always strive to be a positive and uplifting person. Having the Gospel in my life makes that so much easier. Attending church each week is a refresher. I always leave better than when I walked in the doors. At church each Sunday I work with all the children ages 3-11. I am in charge of teaching them songs about our beliefs. Most of the songs center around our Savior, Jesus Christ. I LOVE this job! It truly is the best. Each week I am able to feel the Spirit so strongly. I know it is because the children are so much more humble and closer to our Father in Heaven. I am truly honored to be around such wonderful children. Also I am so lucky to be able to sing each Sunday songs about our Savior.
