Hi I'm Kimberly

I'm a Wife, A Mother, A Daughter, A Child of God and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kimberly Merrill and I have been married for 9 yrs. I am the Mother of four beautiful children, one of which, is severely special needs. My life is very demanding and very challenging, but I embrace it and I love it. I enjoy learning new things, which has come in handy with being the mother of Payten. I have had to become a Nurse and a Therapist over night! She requires alot of work, that is both medical and theraputic, but it is worth it! I love to play with my kids, read to my kids, and write stories with my kids! I enjoy decorating my home, as well as organizing my home. I am a homemaker, a chef (not super great, but okay), a Cleaning lady, a Professional Shopper!, an Educator, a Nurse, etc. Basically I am your typical stay at home Mom!!!! And I love every bit of it! My hobbies include, crafting, reading, writing, playing games and hanging out with friends and family! I basically am your average, everyday gal and I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life and looking back on it, I don't think I have ever really doubted it's truthfulness. At first, while I was young, I relied on my parents testimony and then as I got older I gained a testimony of my very own. If I had to right now pin point one specific thing about the church/gospel, and why I belong to it, I would have to say it is because of the Plan of Salvation. I am so thankful to have an understanding of the Plan of Salvation, I am grateful to know who I am, where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. My daughter Payten, who is two years old, has a Neurological Disease that will take her life eventually and through the Plan of Salvation I have found comfort and peace. These past few years have been very difficult and I am not going to lie, my faith has been tested. I have been angry and hurt and I have questioned why, many times, but then I am reminded of the eternal perspective, I am reminded of the fact that this Life is not the end, God does have a plan for us and he does know us and he does love us. I know that I will have my daughter again someday and I know that FAMILIES ARE FOREVER and that she will be healed and made perfect and that is why I am a Mormon. This is what keeps me going! The knowledge that I can be with my family forever, that I will always have my Payten.

How I live my faith

I go to Church every Sunday. I do my best at reading the Bible and Book of Mormon, along with Praying every night and day. I try to teach my children the truthfulness of the gospel through word and deed. I strive every day to be of service to those around me. I ultimately try to live my life by the golden rule, Do Unto Others As You Would Have Others Do Unto You.
