Hi I'm Michaela

I sing spontaneously, draw random cartoons, and tend to laugh at least 90 percent of the day. I'm a Mormon. = )

About Me

I am a junior in high school, currently involved in orchestra and what feels like a dozen AP classes. I'm the daughter of two loving parents, and the (he'll say antagonizing) older sister of one brother. I love to laugh, and try to be optimistic about stuff that comes my way, even though it can be quite the challenge at times. My parents will tell you what I do most in life is cling to my computer, but what I really love to do is draw. I hope to someday be able to work somehow with art, maybe go into graphic design or illustration. I can play a little bit of piano, and this will be about... the seventh year that I'll have played the violin. These past two years I've truly come to appreciate how much music has been a blessing in my life. I can be terribly shy or terribly loud, but one thing I know is that the best way to make friends sometimes is as simple as sending a smile their way.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel, thanks to my parents, who both decided to join at a young age. I'm so grateful to them and for their examples of faith and strength among people that may not have been as accepting. They're the pioneers in my life and I'm so grateful that I'm given the opportunity to spend the rest of eternity with them. I've always wanted to someday, when I have my own family, be able to give that blessing to them as well, and have taken the steps to be able to go to the temple, building my testimony along the way. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true, and I know that Heavenly Father answers prayers, and that he cares about each one of us. I know that he's always there for me, especially during the hard times, and I'm grateful for the blessings he gives me in my life.

How I live my faith

I always go to church and mutual, and try to be a good example to others around me. I think about what decisions Heavenly Father, and my parents would want me to make, and try to follow after those things. I try and take the opportunity to serve others, whether that be by babysitting for free for parents who simply want to go to the temple or just by attempting to include others in school or church activities.
