Hi I'm Mallory

I am a chemical engineer who turned into a stay at home mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised Mormon. When I turned 18 I moved out of state to attend school. I got my degree in engineering, worked for a large aviation company and while working met my husband. After a year or two we decided to start a family. We decided together that I would stay home with our kids. Being a stay at home mom is the most challenging and rewarding jobs I have ever done.I feel very lucky and blessed I get to stay home and play with my children. In my spare time I enjoy blogging, running, reading, playing video games, and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an Mormon family where I attended church with my family. When I was 17 and trying to figure out life I decided I would read the Book of Mormon and pray to know if the church was true or not. Though I did not have any lightening bolts or angels telling me it was true; I did however have a calm feeling that this church was indeed organized by Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. Even though life has had its many ups and downs since then I have always believed and been grateful for the consistency of being a Mormon in my life. Plus I find great strength in the Plan of Happiness and being able to know where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday as a family, teaching my children about Jesus Christ, and by giving as much service to others around me as I can.
