Hi I'm Lauren

I am from a small town in Arizona that no body knows about, I'm envolvedin my community and school, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! I am in band and play the flute, piccolo, piano, and I sing in the school's Ambassador as well as Emissaries choirs. I also participate in Basketball (as I'm 5'11) and Track. I'm an active member of NHS and keep up good grades. I love hanging out with my family as well as my friends. Living in a small town, the options are kind of limited by ways of entertainment. Some of the things we love to do include going to the lake, paint wars, getting icecream (lots and lots!) and hanging around the welcome to Eagar sign. At home when I'm not with friends I'm an active pinterester (if that's even a word) and I love doing diy crafts when I'm not doing chores or whatever around the house (with Pandora rockage of course.) I also work at a local restaurant, babysit, and teach piano lessons to earn my keep and save up for college (Which I'll be attending in 2 short years) Other than that, I just love living life and nature (which isn't too hard when the forest is practically in your back yard.) and I want the best life for everyone.

Why I am a Mormon

I am blessed to be born into the gospel. I have a testimony of my own that the gospel, greatly increased by my great friends and my family who love and support me. I love church and the feeling of love and support from my ward members. I can't imagine what it would be like to not have the gospel, so I try to share it with other people. I know in my heart that the church is true. I have read the Book of Mormon all the way through and I know with a surety that it is true.

How I live my faith

During school I go to seminary, which is a special class for high school students, where we learn and study the scriptures. I participate in community service projects on my own, through our Young Women's group, and NHS. We try to help the elderly and the less fortunate. I strive to live like Jesus Christ did, so I don't drink or smoke, dress immodestly, or participate in anything else immoral. I strive to live the right way by keeping God's commandments.
