Hi I'm Kevin Hart

I love fishing, writing, and movies, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Two of my main interest are that I like to write stories, and make movies. I started writing stories when I was young. I never fineshed anything back then, but it helped me to develop my writing style, and to be a better writer. I have always liked making movies, but when i got into my schools video production program I started to love it. The challenge of trying to create an effect, and getting to visually show people a story has stuck with me. I also enjoy fishing a lot. I have many memories of fishing with my Grandpa, and family. We sometimes spend part of the summer camping next to a lake and fishing. I enjoy the outdoors, and love to be out in it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the church, but this doesnt make my choice easier. I am a Mormon because I have asked to know if this church is true, and have recieved an answear. The church has also helped me through my toughest trials. I know that without Christ in my life and the spirit I feel when i do what he has asked us to do, that i would not be who i am today.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission in the London England Mission. I am very excited to be working here, and ready to go. I also try my best to always live my life so that I can feel the spirit. If I am doing that then I know that I doing what I should be. Those things include even the simple things like reading my scripture, saying my prayers, and going to church. Even these little things bring us more in tune with the spirit, and help me to fallow the commandments better.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Kevin Hart
In the simplest answer possible, yes we do regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God. There are many lessons that we learn from the Bible. The Bible testifies of Christ, and the Book of Mormon teaches us to study the Bible as well. In Mormon 7:8-9 we learn that we should study both together. They work together to teach of Christ, and support each other. I often view it like my contacts and my eyes. With just my eyes I can see OK. I can function normally, but my vision is not 100% clear, or focused. But when I put my contacts in I can see with perfect clarity. I feel that it is the same with the Bible and the Book of Mormon. The Bible is wonderful, but without the Book of Mormon I don't have that perfect clarity. And it is the same the other way around. The Book of Mormon is good, but without the Bible I still don't have the clarity. The Bible is amazing, and there is so much that we can learn from it. I would encourage everyone to read, and learn from it. Show more Show less
