Hi I'm Mike

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Cache Valley Utah. Served a full time LDS mission in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

About Me

I am married to Sandee Mansfield and we have 4 children. We have lived in Colorado for 20 years now and love it. I'm real outdoorsman and enjoy camping, hiking, backpacking, hunting, 4-wheeling, biking, and ice hockey. I work for an integrated health care provider, Kaiser Permanente as a technical services manager for their research department, The Institute for Health Research. I grew up in northern Utah, served a mission for the church, married in the Logan, Utah temple and lived in Indiana, California, and best of all Colorado.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, but still went through the conversion process as a young man, where I received a testimony of Christ and his church. I committed myself to live the high moral standards of the gospel and was able to dedicate 2 years of my life as a full-time missionary. The family is the most important thing in my life and the church focuses on the importance of Christ and the family. Through the blessings of the temple sealing power and authority I know that our family can endure all time as we commit to living the commandments. Charity, the pure love of Christ, is the governing principle of our religion. I love the gospel, our Savior, and my family.

How I live my faith

I have given myself to serve in whatever calling I have been given. I have enjoyed very much working with the youth teaching gospel principles, character building attributes, and outdoor skills. I also teach as an adjunct faculty member at Regis University, a Catholic Jesuit school.
