Hi I'm Naomi

I'm a mom of 4 under 4. I'm a wife. I'm a couponer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mommy of four beautiful little girls under the age of four and there are days I think I am insane. I am a wife of a great guy who helps me to learn and grow each day. I love to travel and experience new things and different cultures, I don't get the chance to travel too often due to expense but when given the opportunity I enjoy it to the fullest. I am a crazy couponer and I love to share with others what I know. I am the epitomy of frugal and try to help others save money in any way I can. I love thrift store shopping and yard sale-ing. I am a writer, no one but my sister has read anything I've written but someday I hope to be published. I love being a mom and wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and most of my family are members but as I went to college I decided I couldnt live off my parents' knowledge and I decided to really study and pray about the church. After a couple months I gained a testimony of the truthfulness of what I was studying. After finding the truth and feeling that I had been given such a great blessing, I decided that I needed to share that with others and decided to serve a mission. I was sent to California, Venezuela, Aruba and Curacao and was blessed to be able to share what I knew with others.

How I live my faith

I dont think there is anything in particular how I live my faith other than acting as I think the Savior would want me to. I like to teach and enjoy teaching classes on anything from couponing or canning to chastity or family history. I look at teaching as an opportunity to learn more. I visit others and help with anything I can. I look for others whom I can help in some way.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

I think in many ways we are similar to every other woman out there except we live by higher standards. I feel that in my relationship I am an equal partner. I have chosen to stay home and be a mom and my husband supports that 100% but it was never required. I am and would be supported in any dicission to work out of the home or stay at home. As in any culture there are some who believe that women are inferior to men but our church teaches that men and women are equally important in life. We all have things to add to life to make it better. Show more Show less
