Hi I'm Randy Reynolds

I'm a recovered alcoholic. I used a 12 step program to become closer to a "Higher Power". I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I became active three years ago in a 12 step program. As I gained the "Higher Power" that was required for sobriety, I began to understand the precepts of the Gospel. I began to see what I had left behind at the age of 19, when i became inactive. Now, 20 years later, I have regained my testimony of the true Gospel of my Heavenly Father. I am now going to church with my new wife(who was baptised this June) I am now teaching my daughter the principles of the gospel. I am not going to my Mother and Fathers church. i am going to Christs church. After all I have put myself through in my life up until now, Thanks to my Heavenly father, I am happier than ever

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Gospel has answered all the questions that were left unanswered. I have read the Book of Mormon and I believe all the words that are written were inspired of God. I believe Joseph Smith is a TRUE Prophet and has brought the True church back to the Earth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an example of the right in everything i do, everyone i meet, and anything I say

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Randy Reynolds
We believe the Bible is the word of God so long as it is translated correctly. Webelieve also ,The Book of Mormon is also the Word of God. Mormons believe, revere and love the Holy Bible. We see it as a powerful, important, and sacred holy record which serves as the bedrock of all Christianity. The Bible is rich in history, doctrine, stories, sermons and testimonies, all of which witness that Jesus Christ is the Divine Son of our Heavenly Father. The Bible is the word of God and came from the writings of holy men of God as they were moved upon by the Holy Ghost (see 2 Peter 1:20-21). Through the same process we have additional Holy Scripture, including the Book of Mormon, which supports and exalts the Bible. Show more Show less
