Hi I'm Eric

I'm a Mormon. I have been a mormon for 18 years and my testimony of the Savior has grown ever since. I believe in Jesus Christ!

About Me

I grew up in the congregational church and I was looking for something more, something that I really believed in and brought me closer to my Savior. I served a couple of missions before I joined the mormon church in Scotland and Romania. We shared the love of the savior as well as spend some time working in a handicapped boys orphanage. I have a beautiful wife and three wonderful children. Some of my hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, walking and working with the Boy Scouts organization. I went to college right out of high school and received my associates degree. I received my bachelors and masters degree in business management and organizational management with three young children. I look back at this time with work, school and family and do not understand how I did all of these so effectively. I work for an organization that helps those in need with basic commodies when they are strugling and having difficulties in their life. I have been a member of the mormon church since October 1993.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon becuase I believe that my family can be together forever! I love my family and I cannot imagine a day without one of them. I have been very blessed in my life and I know my Father in Heaven loves me a knows me personally. I am a mormon and receive direction from the prophet of the mormon church. He leads me and guides me just as the prophets did in the bible. I love the Book or Mormon, as it also leads me and guide me on the correct path to return to my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the Bible, Book of Mormon, and my prophet. I am very involved in the scouting organization and I love working with 12 and 13 year old boys and teaching them about scouts and how to prepare for life and some of the situations they may encounter when they are outdoors. I love being outdoors and I often refer to it as "my second home". This past year I took some training from the American Red Cross. I took a CPR, AED, first aid course and life guard training, as it will help me in the scouting organization, as well in my personal life as most of my hobbies do not occur near a medical facility. I received CERT (Citizens Emergency Response Team) training this year so I can help out in the community if their is a disaster near where I live. I also have my HAM license so I can communicate if their is no service through lan lines or cell phones.
