Hi I'm Michael

I'm the oldest of my family. I have 7 sisters 3 brothers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 10 children. First it was me, three sisters, another brother, four more sisters and another two brothers. I love reading spending time with my friends and I love to go to church dances. My family is very crazy if you ask me but I still love them for who they are. When my faith in the church has wavered, my family was there to help. I really love Martial Arts and working out. The Lord has greatly blessed me and I recently received the call to serve Him in the Japan Sendai mission in August 2016!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in to the church but as I grew I questioned the church and prayed for the truth. I learned that this is the true church. I have seen the kindness of the church and its love for people from every faith. My family has had financial problems but the church supported us with our bills and our food. I was so happy. Just a little while ago I volunteered at the bishop store house. I would go every Tuesday and Saturday. What I really loved about that place was the spirit of service that seemed to live there. It was almost my favorite church related activity. I acknowledge that I have made mistakes in my life but I can repent and continuously strive to be better. Someday when I am an old geezer or about to die I hope to look back and have no regrets. That would be a blessing unto me.

How I live my faith

I have been called to be a home teacher with my father for two family's. I really enjoy coming to their homes and sharing a message with each of them. But what I really enjoy is their children. I love children although you would think I have had enough kids in my life as it is! Even more than that I am inspired by all who are around me. I really admire the people who easily accept others. That makes me happy. That happened a little while ago at my first youth conference. I met someone new and she was very kind and easily accepted me. She invited me to her group for the activities it was a wonderful experience for me.
