Hi I'm Echo

I am a wife, a football and stage mom. My husband and I run a professional Polynesian entertainment group. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost, I am a wife and a mother of six. I went to law school, but chose to stay at home and raise my kids for ten years instead of pursuing a legal career. During my time at home I wrote two teen novels (still unpublished!). I am now back in school working on my MA in English. I am a football mom, a stage mom, and a former professional Polynesian dancer. Together with my husband and our kids, we own, manage and perform in our own Polynesian entertainment group and band. Occasionally I like to spin my fire poi balls!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. It is not just a religion or a way of life, but it provides the truth about not only this earth life but beyond. Through the teachings of the Church, I know how this whole universe is operated: under the hand of a kind and loving Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I don't have to wonder why there's an earth and why I'm on it. I know. This is a comfort during the difficult times in which we live. The Church itself is given to us by Jesus Christ to educate us and to support and guide us through this life so that we can return to our Father someday.

How I live my faith

I have worked mainly with the children of the Church teaching them on Sunday or as a Cub Scout leader. Through the visiting teaching program in the women's organization, I have met some of the best friends I've had in my life.
