Hi I'm Cami

I grew up in Las Vegas. I want to be a public relations professional. I love to smile and eat. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm attending college right now in hopes of becoming a public relations professional. It's hard work, but in the end of it all, I'm hoping to have a career that will enable me to help others thrive. I love my college lifestyle: hanging out with my roommates, dating, meeting so many new and different people, and living the Gospel on my own. I love serving. The furthest from home I have served is in the Philippines. I love the people there.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe it is true. I've prayed to God and asked Him, and felt His warm and confirming response through careful listening and thoughts. I grew up in a Mormon household, which is where my testimony began. Now that I am on my own, my testimony is able to flourish. I go to church because I want to go to church. I read my scriptures and pray every day because I know it will make my day go better and strengthen my testimony. Nobody tells me to go and do these things, but I go and do anyway because I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I organize activities for the women in the church. We can do whatever fun things we want to, and I organize what everybody would like to do. Spiritual strengthening is always included in these activities, as everything we do is pleasing in the sight of God. It is wonderful to feel the strength of sisterhood in the Gospel, and feel how much God loves each of His children. I recently went to the Philippines where I was able to visit church members. They were all so strong and faithful! My testimony was so enriched by their wonderful spirits.
