Hi I'm Jordan

I'm an equestrian, a homeschooler, a pharmacy student, and a Mormon.

About Me

My siblings and I have been lucky enough to grow up with an appreciation for nature and animals, and horses are my special love. I started riding at age 8 and can't imagine my life without horses. They have taught me responsibility, patience, and kindness, and the feeling of connecting with such powerful and majestic creatures is amazing. Being homeschooled has helped me to value myself, my family, and learning for the sake of learning. I am studying to be a pharmacist because I love medicine and the way we can heal each other using knowledge gained through the efforts of many people.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father loves me. Every day I can look back and see more evidence of that love, and the greatest evidence has been through the Gospel. The blessings are much more important than social or health benefits. The opportunity to learn and know for myself that He has a plan for this crazy life, that He knows what we're experiencing and wants to help us, that our struggles have meaning and purpose, that He has all the answers even if we don't understand everything, that we can ask Him for help and for guidance--this knowledge has made all the difference in my life, and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to become the best person I can be, to be more diligent, more understanding, more forgiving, even when there's sometimes an easier route. I am currently serving as a full time missionary and the opportunity to focus on the Lord and His work all day, every day, is stretching and blessing me so much. There is so much to learn and do, and the only way to succeed is to focus on the Lord and what He wants me to do. After that, everything falls into place and I'm able to serve people as He would. I'm on a mission because I know He loves all of His children, and I want to share that message with everyone.
