Hi I'm Marshall

I grew up in Mesa, AZ. I am married with 4 kids. My family is the greatest joy in my life.

About Me

I come from a family of 7 children, 5 boys and 2 girls. My family is my life. I am now a Dad of 4 kids. My wife and I have been married 10 years. I graduated college from Arizona State University and have worked at the same bank my whole professional career. I enjoy all things athletic and really enjoy playing pick up basketball 3 times a week. I work hard during the week and it usually stresses me out, but I live for the weekends and spending time with my family. They are my sanity.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and raised a Mormon. I once had a friend tell me that if I wasn't raised a Mormon I probably wouldn't be one today. What he doesn't understand is that even though I was raised a Mormon, there came a time when I had to find out for myself if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was true and if I should still be a member. I am a Mormon because I asked God if this is His church and the answer has come to me over and over again that it is.

How I live my faith

I live my faith first and foremost in my home. I lead my family in prayer, scripture study, and what the church calls Family Home Evenings. Next, I am active in my ward. I have mostly had callings where I have worked with the young men. I love working with youth and pray that I am an example and inspiration to them. I have cared about each young man I have worked with individually and pray that I have some influence on their lives for the better. I recently moved to a new ward and have not yet been placed in a new position of service, but hope that I am soon and hope that once again, I get to work with the youth.
