Hi I'm Brandon

I grew up in Utah. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah and love living there. I am way into music. I play the piano, the viola, and I have a decent singing voice I believe. I am currently teaching myself how to play the organ. It is coming along slowly but surely. I am also way into music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. I have loved my college experience so far. I'm not totally sure what I want to pursue a career in yet but I'm currently looking into studying accounting or finance. I've had the best experience of serving as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Tacoma, Washington. I love seeing people come closer to their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. What an amazing and humbling experience it is to see the hand of the Lord in the people I associate with as well as myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I honestly don't know where I would be without the Savior in my life. Heavenly Father has blessed me and my family more than I can imagine. The experiences and challenges that we all have in our lives are never easy, but they are always worth it. With the Savior with us, we don't have to fear. It all depends on if we put our trust in his hands.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the things I know to be true and bring complete happiness. I played the piano for six years for various activities in the church. Listening and playing the hymns that testify of Christ and his gospel is one significant way I feel God's love for me. Having daily scripture study and prayer are things that have never been very diligent at, but I know that when I do these things, I am so much happier and can feel the presence of the Savior in my life. Going to church is another one of those things that hasn't always been easy to do all the time but is more than worth it in the end. There was a time a little while ago where I wasn't as faithful in my church attendence as I could've been. I knew that was where I should be but I wasn't all the time because I let laziness creep into my life. I would rationalize with myself that I would do better next week, but it wasn't always that way the following week. I definitely noticed a difference. I wasn't as happy. I was putting myself before what Heavenly Father wanted me to do. Since then I have never forgotten how if you put God first in your life in all aspects of everything you do, he will bless you more than you can comprehend and all you have to do in life falls into place.
