Hi I'm Taylor

I wen't to Culinary School, I love Music, I am on a Mission in the Washington Tacoma Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I am Taylor I am from Utah and have been serving a mission for the past 2 years in Washington Tacoma Mission. I feel like the best way to describe me is crazy and full of energy. For me there is nothing I won't try at least once. I love being in the outdoors, playing sports, snowboarding, working on cars, listening to music, and the list goes on. I love life and live life to the fullest, I am who I am and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Mormon Church (LDS) and have always known that there is a God and that Jesus Christ is my savior. However, in my late high school years this belief was truly tested. I was going to church but not for the reasons I should have been I was not doing it for me I was doing it for others around me. Then there was one day when I had one of my best friends who had told me that he was planning on going on a mission (A 2 year service to the Lord) and that I should be doing the same thing. Even though it was just a small invitation, that invitation changed my life. I had to really evaluate my life and figure out what it is that I needed to be doing. At that time my life was slowly heading down a path that I knew would be hard for me to get out of I knew I was not going to be happy living like that for the rest of my life. I finally started to pray again, I started to read the scriptures, and to go to church for me and no one else. I read the Book of Mormon for the first time on my mission and it took me a good long time to read it. When I finished the last page, I got down on my knees and asked God if the book was true. At that time, I felt a peace in the room I was in and in my heart. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I invite anyone and everyone to read it and pray and to ask God if it is true. God will answer your prayers he always does and always will.

How I live my faith

The most simple way that I can tell you how I live my Faith is by how I live my life. I try to serve others as much and as often as I can. I do my best to follow Christ's example and his teachings.
