Hi I'm Brittani Crapse

I'm a Mormon. I moved to Arizona when I was 6, I'm a college student, I'm a writer.

About Me

I am currently attending college for a degree in English with emphasis in Creative Writing. I am also in the Honors Program which keeps me busy. Between school, work and sleep (which is my favorite activity), I am always on the go! The other things I make sure I have time for are volleyball, reading and my family. I am a book-aholic! I love to read nearly everything! My favorite is Chronicles of Narnia. I also love to bake! My specialties are peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies and chocolate pie (with an amazing home-made crust).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that has been Mormon for 2 generations, so I have been a member my entire life. I choose to be Mormon still because of the trials I have been through and the immense comfort I have felt from my Heavenly Father at the time. He will never leave me in my time of need. I choose this religion because I know of a surety that this gospel is true. I have seen the blessings that come from following the teachings He has sent forth. I know that Heavenly Father is with me every step of my journey through this life and is waiting to welcome me back when my time comes.

How I live my faith

I love being a part of my community, both in church and out of church. For my ward, I am on a committee that organizes a social every other Sunday, right after church. We bring food, and everyone gathers and eats and talks, getting to know one another. It is wonderful because I get to bake! Last year I organized a benefit concert and that was wonderful! Seeing all of the children the benefited from the donations was amazing. I am in the Honors Program at school, as well. Once a month, I also visit a few girls in my ward mainly to see how they are doing and if they need help.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Brittani Crapse
Family is important because we believe in being together for eternity, not just here on Earth. It is the main part to Heavenly Father's plan for us. Show more Show less
