Hi I'm Alana

I'm a dancer. I'm a friend. I'm a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sophmore in highschool and I absolutely love school. Not so much the homework aspect, but I do enjoy seeing my friends everyday. I love seminary...a lot. It's my first class, so my days always start out great! I'm a daughter of two active members of the LDS church. I have two older sisters, who are pretty much my role models. I enjoy going to stake dances, football games, and just chilling with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Although I was fortunate enough to have been brought up in this wholesome environment, I do believe this church is true. This church has given me so many opportunities as well as numerous blessings I wouldn't have had otherwise. Without the knowledge of this church or the lifestyle I have, I don't know where I would be and what I would be like. It has definitely made a huge impact on my life in helping me decide what kind of person I want to be.

How I live my faith

I attend church and mutual weekly and I am quite fond of seminary! I also surround myself with friends with high standards and morals. I live the law of chastity and the Word of Wisdom. On a daily basis, my friends and I try to share the gospel to those we come across. In seminary we have been taught a lot on missionary work and how important it is. I make it a goal of mine to be a good example to others and to brighten their days. One of my favorite scriptures, which is also a scripture mastery, helps me to be that example I need to be. It says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth" Romans 1:16
