Hi I'm Kristy

Some call me by my name, some call me Mom, some call me Nana and some call me a MORMON...and I'm proud!

About Me

My life may not be perfect, but it is perfect for me! I’m VERY happily married to the man God intended for me! I have 4 biological children and 2 children that were gifts from my husband AND somebody must have got some of them wet as they started multiplying like Gremlins, so add 2 more to the list...and ONE BEAUTIFUL PRECIOUS GRANDSON! Friends and Family are EVERYTHING to me! A few years ago I gave up working in Business Admin and working with the Mentally Ill and Challenged and became a Domestic Engineer. I spend my down time playing on computer, reading, doing crafts and like to spend as much time outside as possible! Don’t watch much TV, but when I do its usually Fox News, except when Hubby is out of town than I like to watch Nanny on Nick at Night until I fall asleep. I love music, mostly listen to classic rock, oldies, jazz, blues and occasionally country.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young child we are blessed with knowing our Heavenly Father and knowing only righteous things and we are so happy, the light of Christ is easily seen in our eyes. As we mature and encounter more and more of the world we lose our innocents and a veil prohibits us from seeing our Heavenly Father but we are all given the blessing of being able to feel the Holy Spirit. When we turn our back on the Holy Spirit life seems dark (though we may not realize it), when walk beside the Holy Spirit but don’t really pay attention to the Spirit life can be more colorful but when we listen and follow the Holly Spirit life can be brighter than the sun! Throughout my life I’ve gone from one extreme to the other and I have realized that though life can be fun at times only with Heavenly Father in our lives can we truly be happy all the time. I chose the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because the teachings of the church have helped me feel closer to Heavenly Father more so than any other teachings. The closer we are to our Heavenly Father, the thinner the veil is, and the easier it is for us to know what is true.

How I live my faith

I try to always keep in mind that I am a daughter of our Heavenly Father and it helps me reach my potential in the things I do such as being a wife, mother, grandmother, relative, friend, woman and a person. I am blessed to be able to teach Sunday school to a wonderful group of 12 and 13 year olds. At least once a day I take a few minutes a day to think of my Sisters that I visit teach and try to think of ways I can enhance their lives.
