Hi I'm Tony

I'm a one-man ad agency. I migrated from Arizona to Southern California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my 20s, I spent the better part of a decade singing and playing guitar in saloons. The oldest of seven children, I wasn't interested in settling down, until I laid eyes on a blonde waitress in a club in Reno. That day changed my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Returning to the faith in which I was raised proved to be the smartest move I ever made. By returning to the principles I was taught by my parents and church leaders, I soon regained my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I married a great gal who was also LDS, and then went back to school for some higher education. We both knew the advantages of the LDS lifestyle and supported each other in becoming worthy to be sealed in the Temple. Then we began raising our family. Over the years, we've had our share of struggles, but the Lord has blessed us with health and prosperity, and I know that's in part because we have been willing to serve others.

How I live my faith

One evening each week, I serve as a volunteer for a shift in the Newport Beach Temple. It takes away the stress of the workday and helps me appreciate the eternal nature of life. On another weeknight, I tutor high school-age youth at a Church building for our Homework Club. I am one 12 high councilors who assist the president of our stake. I am also assigned to our stake public affairs committee, which works to promote volunteer interfaith activities in our community. We frequently have the full-time missionaries over for dinner in our home, to encourage them in their efforts.
