Hi I'm Emmy

I'm a Georgia peach. I'm a sister missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey there! My name is Emmeline, but most everyone knows me as Emmy. Georgia is home for me, but right now I'm loving every second of my life in Logan, Utah where I'm a student at Utah State University studying Elementary Education and Special Education. (Aggies all the way!!)

Why I am a Mormon

I KNOW, with my whole soul, that this gospel is directly from the Lord. I know that it is true. I know that He lives and loves us- I feel that love so abundantly around me. I know that we always have someone who knows exactly what we are going through, and I know that my Savior will stand by my side even on the darkest of days. I know, and testify that He lives.I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and truly testifies of Christ. I know that the temple is the house of the Lord, and that the ordinances that take place within those sacred walls are binding for eternity. I know that through these wonderful ordinances that families truly can and will be together forever. I know that we have a living prophet who is the mouthpiece of our Heavenly Father. I love this gospel. It has enriched my life in more ways than I can count. It brings me immeasurable joy. I am so humbled and grateful to be a member of this church, and for the wonderful opportunity I have to share it with others.

How I live my faith

I always strive to live such a way that others will be able to see the light of Christ through me. Being from an area where the members of the LDS church are few in number, I simply make it my goal to put my best self forward at all times and to not hesitate to answer questions or facilitate discussions about my faith. I'm always happy to talk to others about it- it is something that brings so much joy and fulfillment to my life and I love sharing that! As much as I love college life at USU, I have made the decision to serve a full time mission for the next 18 months. I've been called to serve in the Barbados Bridgetown mission, speaking the beautiful French language. I can't wait to serve the Lord there and to serve and love the wonderful people I'll be able to encounter on my mission!
