Hi I'm Tylan

I'm a Missionary in the South, a VW fan, I grew up in Utah, And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am youngest of 8 in my family. I have a big family!!! I grew up in Utah with an amazing family that i do love very much. I restored a 1972 Super Beetle, I really enjoy camping, fishing, swimming anything to do outdoors mainly water sports, editing and taking pictures, and spending time with the family. I am a family guy what can i say. I enjoy playing guitar in random places, and I enjoy listening to music.

Why I am a Mormon

Why i am a Member? That is a great question to ask. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life. At first I grew up relying on my parents testimonies but as I get older I started to have questions and I want to find out for myself. I took the Challenge in the Book of Mormon to find out for myself. I read the Book of Mormon for the first time when i was a Sophomore in High School. As I read it the spirit took me by surprise and by the end I knew that it was True. Ever sense then my testimony has grown much more. I continue to read it daily and gain more of a witness that it is true. One of the greatest things that I learned from reading the Book of Mormon is the Love God does have for his Children. It being another Witness of Jesus Christ to show his love and his Atonement for us. I know that the Atonement is real and through that all things are made Possible. I know that the church that Christ has been restored today through the Prophet Joseph Smith and where we do have living Prophets today. I know the Book of Mormon to be another witness of Jesus Christ. And Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can return and live with god again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be an example. I know I do make mistakes in life but I know that as I put my trust in the lord i am able to do anything. Relying on the Savior through his Atonement, knowing that i can repent of my sins and be one step closer to returning to live with God once again. I am living my life as an example by teaching others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ here in Louisiana. It has been a blessing in my life to be here serving such great people and I love it here in the South. I am looking forward to the future for new adventures and building my faith.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

God is Perfect, all powerful, Ruler of the earth and all. He is our Heavenly Father. We are his spirit Children and we were made in his image. He does have a body like ours, But his body is perfect. He loves each one of his children and he has made it possible so we can learn and one day live with him again. He is always there for you in his own way and time. He is happy when we are and he is sad when we are. He is waiting for the day when we return to him. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Mormons believe that when families are what brings us together and is one of the most important things in life. Heavenly Father has put us in families so that we can learn and grow together. Family is where we learn to love, work, and believe. We gain faith as a family and we learn about Christ and his Atonement. We set goals as families that one day we can be sealed in the temple. Family relationships are to last forever. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

How can there not be? Have we walked outside and smelt the roses. The way of life is just an amazing thing. I see how God is really just through the life all around us and the life of others. Seeing the stars outside knowing that someone had to make it. The spirit that I feel as i do pray to him and knowing that i am a Child of God. Its not easy to learn that but as i have come to know the gospel i have come closer to God to know that he is there. He loves us so much and he is with us in all we do as we do what is right and striving to gain a relationship with him. Show more Show less
