Hi I'm Stacy

I am a mom, preschool teacher, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in California. I now live in Arizona and I am a mother of five amazing and talented children. I love being a mother and I teach preschool in the mornings to some fun three year old children which I thoroughly enjoy too. I love dancing, teaching dance, music, playing the piano and flute, listening to my children play violin, piano, flute, trumpet, electric violin, and mandolin, making crafts, photography, shopping, practicing sign language, visiting on the phone with my two sisters, brother, and parents, taking care of horses, laughing, sitting on the beach, and being with my wonderful husband and children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Christian. I know that Christ lives. I know that He knows me and loves me. I know that He died for me. I am so grateful for His sacrifice, His example and love. I am so grateful to have this knowledge. I have prayed about these things and gotten answers for myself. I am grateful that I grew up in a home with good loving parents who taught me about my Savior. I am grateful they were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They raised me in the church to which I will ever be grateful. I have been through different struggles in my life and I am grateful that I had my Savior to turn to for comfort. I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love learning of Christ’s teachings. I love the programs this church offers to help us live a good righteous life and to keep focused on our Savior.

How I live my faith

I love attending church each Sunday to worship my Savior and to renew the covenants or promises I made when I was baptized. I love learning more about my Savior and feeling of His spirit. I pray to my Heavenly Father each day and thank Him for the many different blessings He has given me. I read the scriptures, the Bible and the Book of Mormon (which is another testament of Christ). I learn many new things each time I read. I find answers to questions when I read. I feel of my Savior’s love when I read. I attend the Lord’s temple monthly. The Lord’s temples are beautiful places to also worship that are very peaceful inside. I spend quality time with my family. We try to have family dinner together each night. Every Monday evening we gather and have family night. We sing a song, read scripture, have a short lesson, game and treat. We enjoy this time together to learn and strengthen our relationships. We love to do many activities together as a family. Once a week in the evening, I meet with a group of teenage girls and we do an activity together. Sometimes we play sports, sometimes we do service, and sometimes we learn something new. I love hanging out with these girls. I appreciate their good examples of followers of Christ. I also visit two fabulous women each month in their homes and bring them a lesson about our Savior each time I visit. I am grateful for the opportunities the church gives me to serve. As the scriptures say, "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are in the service of your God."
