Hi I'm Joseph Bruderer

My nickname is Broseph. I love Peanut Butter, ballin' it up, and hiking.

About Me

I am majoring with a business administration degree with an emphasis in marketing. I am a student at Weber State University. I enjoy spending time with my family, being in the mountains, and learning. Something unique about me is I play the bagpipes and I have a lame sense of humor. That's me in a nutshell!

Why I am a Mormon

It is simple. One of the greatest blessings of this gospel is that It makes sense. I am Mormon because it has brought an understanding of who I am, and most importantly who I can become through the help of our Savior Jesus Christ. I believe that Heavenly Father communicates to us in a way that only our hearts can understand. As a young teenager I had the opportunity to visit a small grove of trees in New York where our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith. During my brief visitation, I had the chance to take a little stroll throughout the woods.. As I walked along this dirt path, I felt a warm and peaceful feeling. I knew that it was the Spirit speaking to my heart that this was Jesus Christ's church.

How I live my faith

By doing what the Lord has asked me to do!

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Joseph Bruderer
Serving as a missionary in the south, I have come to recognize how many people truly love and cherish the Holy Bible. It is a sacred record written by the hands of devouted and inspired men who testify to the validity of our Savior Jesus Christ. It has brought me closer to Him. I believe that the bible is the word of God, and does contain the fullness of the Gospel. The Bible has a fascinating history. It has been perserved from the Saviors earthly ministry, all the way down to our day. It has been handed down generation from generaion so that our children may too grow up in righteousness and come to the knowledge of our Savior. As the bible went through many religionists, translators, clergymen, etc: It is evident that there are many interpretations and questions to what translation is the correct one. Our Father in Heaven tells us that he is not an "Author of Confusion", from the beginning He has provided another record: The Book of Mormon to stand as a second testimony to the validity of our Savior Jesus Christ. It is the same gospel, and provides clarification for what God's plan is for us. As does the Bible, The Book of Mormon brings me closer to my savior. I have a testimony that it is true. There is no doubt. It has changed my life. Some of my most happiest times is when I developed a relationship with that very book. I believe in the Bible, and I believe in the Book of Mormon. For they are both the words of Christ. Show more Show less
