Hi I'm Lacey

Hi! I'm a piano teacher, rock climber, gardener, mother of 2, and a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a home founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ, and the church has always been a part of my life. I've been married to my wonderful husband for 5 years and we have 2 very active daughters They are the most precious gift I've ever been given. I love to rock climb but mostly only indoors because i'm afraid of spiders! When i'm angry or emotional i play the piano. The louder i play the better i feel. I began developing this talent when I was 5 years old and I've been teaching lessons for 9 years. My husband and I love to garden together, we also go fishing as a family quite often.

Why I am a Mormon

I want to be with my family forever and the Mormon Church makes it possible to be sealed to my husband and children forever. I believe in eternal life and know that the ordinances that we complete in the temple will seal my family even after death. The Mormon Church is led by a living Prophet. Moses, Abraham, Daniel, Noah, Nephi, Moroni, Joseph Smith...they were all prophets on the Earth many years ago, Thomas S. Monson is the living Prophet on the Earth today. The Priesthood holders in the Mormon Church have been ordained from a direct lineage from Jesus Christ himself. You can’t argue with fact. What a wonderful power that men can hold, and know it was handed down from the Savior himself. The power of the Priesthood is astounding!

How I live my faith

I know my daughters are always watching me, so i try to be the kind of person I want them to emulate...loving, compassionate, honest and kind. I go to church and read my scriptures and pray because I want to continue to learn ways to be more like the Savior. I am the Relief Society President in my ward. This means I get to help other ladies in my ward congregation grow in their testimonies of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the restored gospel.
