Hi I'm Noelle

I'm a wife and mother. I love people! I graduated from college in my 40's. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love people. I'm interested in all kinds of people and what they do and how they feel. I have 7 children and a wonderful husband! I am a stay-at-home mom and love being able to help in my kids schools, join the booster club, work with youth and bake. I just graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree 1 1/2 years ago. It was 25 years after I had originally started and boy did it feel good to finish. I loved the learning and growing, but I did not like the tests! I love to be outdoors and swimming is my favorite. I love the feeling of salty ocean water drying on my skin and love the smell of the pine trees/warm dirt of the mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

I started this life as a mormon because my parents were Mormons, as were their parents and more. But, I am still a Mormon because I learned for myself that this gospel is true. I love the feeling I get when I go to church and learn more about Jesus Christ and his teachings. I love the feeling I get when I pray or read the Bible or Book of Mormon. I feel a purpose in my life and that gives me direction and accountability for my actions. I want to be a better person every day as I follow Jesus Christ's example. I know that this church is led by a living prophet who gives counsel for our day from a loving Heavenly Father. I know that I am in the right place, the right time and the right church for me. I may have started this life as a Mormon because of my parents, but long ago I chose this life for myself and I love it!

How I live my faith

I love serving in different capacities in the Church. Right now, I am over the girl's youth group in my congregation. I get to be with these wonderful girls, ages 12-18, every Sunday in church and every Wednesday during youth group and sometimes in between. They are vibrant reminders to me of what is good and beautiful in this world. I love to see "the light go on" as they understand a new gospel principle in the lesson I teach. I love to see them develop a new skill during youth group and see the increased confidence and excitement as they practice that skill and eventually master it. These girls are the future and what a bright future we have. I also get to visit other women each month, to check on them and their families, to talk, to become friends, and to help when needed. This is called Visiting Teaching and it's a great excuse to get together with friends. I love the older women that come to see me and enjoy learning from their wisdom. I know that as I serve others, I will feel better about myself and that I am following the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ.
