Hi I'm Jay

I grew up in Mesa, AZ. I work in Tech support and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy music...from classic rock down to listen to movie scores. I've been playing the cello bass since I was in 6 grade and I played that until I graduated in High School. My friends and I started a Rock Band during High School and we've played at a couple venues. After High School I've gone to a few local collages...still trying to figure out what I want to be when I "grow up". I've been married for almost 11 years now to my best friend and beautiful wife. We have 3 great kids and one on the way.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a member of the church since birth...growing up we didn't really attend our church meetings. It wasn't until I got into high school where I meet a really good friend. We had a few classes together and we started to hang out. His family where very faithful by going to church and attending all of their church meetings. Well when it was close to our Senior year he mention that he was going to serve a mission for the church...I started to think about it myself and started to attend church with my congregation. Because of going back to church my family started to take notice and they too started to become more active. I would say that if I didn't have the friendship I made, I probably wouldn't be where I am today. Even though I think I would be ok, I'm sure I would probable be somewhere I shouldn't be or even would be as happy as I am now.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example around my co worker. I do have my short comings but when I get discourage or upset, I just have to remind myself that everything happens for a purpose, and its up to us on how we are going to react to it. When I have time to myself I try to study the gospel. We live in a very fast pace world but when I try to slow it down I really try to ponder on what Christ has tough us and through his prophets and apostles.
