Hi I'm Megan

I'm a wife & mother of 2 sweet little girls. I love scrapbooking and family vacations. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Virginia for most of my childhood and loved learning about our nations history! I moved out west with my family of eight when I was a teenager. I now live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my own wonderful little family & cherish all of the great memories that we're making! Life isn't easy, but they make it worth it!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was very little. I remember very little of our day when we were sealed together as a family..But I do remember the peace that I felt & the love. My parents dutifully attended meetings & activities - and continually expressed their love for our Savior. During my later teenage years, I fell away from the church - Not because I didn't believe in it, but because I wanted to do what I wanted to do. A few years later, my husband & I were expecting our first child. He wasn't a member and I still wasn't attending church. We both realized that raising our child in a Christ centered home was important. We agreed to attend his church and my church & make our decision. I researched where a local ward met and called for meeting times. We attended the following Sunday...and never felt the need to look anywhere else. It felt like home to both of us. We couldn't deny the peace that we felt and the love. We knew that we were in the right place. My sweet husband joined the church 4 months later and we've never been happier - now raising our two daughters in the gospel. We've never looked back.

How I live my faith

For me, it's all about family. I love spending time with our little family and our large extended family - many of whom live across the U.S. Memories with them, mean the world to me. Family Nights are great for us - whether we're learning more about the gospel or playing a fun game! I also stay involved at my girls school & help out where needed. Its great making new friends and getting to know their teachers! I'm also involved with our younger primary girls - ages 8-11. I create fun and inspiring activities for them to grow in the gospel, but also to learn a new talent - such as organization, babysitting techniques, how to french braid, bake bread, etc. Its great to watch them grow! They get to check off goals each time we meet which gives them a sense of accomplishment!
