Hi I'm Assiris "Pepper" Camargo

I'm a full-time student at Arizona State University. The youngest of four children. I love frozen yogurt. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Assiris (like a series of books)! I'm a junior in college, studying Applied Mathematics and Engineering. I love hiking, biking, and being outside. I love frozen yogurt, and spending time with my family. I'm a sister, a daughter, a student, a quote junky, and I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have read the book of Mormon and found it to be good! What the Book of Mormon teaches, has helped me change the way I see life, and everything therein. I know that something so good, something that makes me want to be better, and help others be better, can only come from God. Life is not easy, but we can find lasting joy and happiness in The Gospel of Jesus Christ! I have found that coming unto Christ isn't about being restricted as to what we can and cannot do, it doesn't mean changing everything about ourselves, but it means that we recognize the potential we have as children of God and should leave behind those things that would keep us from returning to live with Him. I know with all my heart and soul that God lives, that Jesus is The Christ, and that He came to Earth and that He will come again. The Book of Mormon is true, and that anyone can know of it's surety by reading it and asking God with a sincere heart to know if it is true. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored through the prophet Joseph, Smith. I know God lives, and that he loves all of us. Because I know these things my life has been changed for the better, and that as we strive to live a Christ-like life, we will be drawn to the truth, because He loves us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by trying to live a Christ-like life. I strive to be kind to everyone I meet, and sharing a smile with everyone. I try to maintain a positive outlook on life, because life can sometimes be hard and it's easy to get down on ourselves. But I remember that we're here to have joy, so I like to help other find joy in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is where I find the most joy. I try to make others laugh with my up-beat attitude, and helping others realize that life is not meant to be taken so seriously. We are here to help each other out. In doing so I live my faith everyday!
