Hi I'm Boyd

I grew up in Washington state. My parents joined the church six years before I was born I was baptized at eight. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, a father of four, a grandfather of six , and a great grandfather of one. I enjoy many sports. I have officiated football, basketball, baseball, and softball mainly for high schools and junior high schools. I work on a dairy with about 50 other people. I have worked other agricultural jobs, fast foods restaurants, as a nurses aide, in retail trade, and service work. I speak English and Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a member family, went to church on a weekly basis when I was young, and got baptized when I was eight years old. I progressed up through the youth activities of the church, made many friends, many of which I still have contact with, did some missionary service, and met the girl that became my wife at a church dance. I have been in various leadership positions which have all helped me become a better person as well as help others to improve themselves.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings on a weekly basis, I visit other members in their homes, I attend other activities as my schedule allows. I am the Sunday School President. We have three classes for the youth, and two for the adults. I find that through regular contact with others I am refreshed and lifted up. I try to read the scriptures often and say prayer to give thanks to my Heavenly Father and asked for strength to over come weaknesses. I believe that what I do through church service helps me be a better person.
