Hi I'm Caleb

I'm from Tooele, UT, but right now I'm serving a full time mission for the Lord in Indiana. I'm LDS, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 20 years old and love to have fun and joke around. One of my favorite scriptures is 2 Nephi 2:25 "Adam fell that men might be, and men are that they might have joy." I love music. I love eating. I love life! It's a brand new adventure every day. I have the greatest family in the whole world and am so grateful for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Church is true. It's just as simple as that. I know the Church is true because God told me so. I don't have any real defining moment or grand instant of conversion, just a lifetime of experiences with the Holy Ghost who tells me that this is the Lord's true Church. I've read and prayed about the Book of Mormon several times and I will never be able to deny the powerful witness of that Book that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that Joseph Smith was His prophet. I am committed to following Him, and this is where He has led me. I've seen the blessings of the Gospel in my life and the lives of my family and friends.

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm serving a mission sharing the Gospel with the Spanish speakers in the Indianapolis, Indiana mission. Missionary work is the best there is. Our Heavenly Father really lets you know how much He loves His children. And how badly He wants to get them back. I study the scriptures daily, which are found in the Holy Bible, the Book of Mormon and modern revelation that is continually revealed to the prophets of our day.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

The prophets of the ancient Americas. These prophets taught the people the Gospel of Jesus Christ and prophesied of His coming. It tells the story of how people first came to the Americas and their dealings with God. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Because it makes sense. The Bible is a history of people in the Holy Land. There were also people in the Americas. The Book of Mormon is a history of those people. Both testify of and contain the works and teaching of Jesus Christ. We can know the Bible is true in the same way that we can know that the Book of Mormon or anything else is true, through study, prayer, and ultimately through the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
