Hi I'm Nathaniel

I'm an attorney. I am married to the most wonderful girl in the world. We have seven wonderful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 32 years old, married to the most wonderful girl in the world, and we are the parents of seven beautiful children. I work as an attorney for a small firm. I love spending time with my family and look forward to being with them each night after work. We enjoy being at home together, but also have fun doing such things as canoeing, camping, swimming, going to the movies, and going on road trips to visit grandparents in a different state. When I have time, I enjoy reading a good history book from my library or playing basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me happiness and gives purpose to my life and because I have been blessed with a knowledge, by the Spirit of God, that Mormonism is true. The more I learn about the doctrines and principles and history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the greater I appreciate the goodness of God and his Son Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ is my personal savior, that he suffered and died for me, and that he continues to help me in all things, both the trials and triumphs of life. As I read and study the Bible and the Book of Mormon and spend time in prayer to Heavenly Father, I feel an assurance that God lives, that he answers prayers, and that, no matter what happens in life, I can always turn to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for comfort and direction. With all of the different voices in the world today, it brings me peace and confidence to know that I can look to the Lord's living prophets for true guidance.

How I live my faith

I try every day to remind myself of my goal to treat people as Jesus Christ would treat them. Especially within my family, I try to show love and respect to my wife and children and to serve them in any way I can. I also have opportunities to serve within the Church, teaching classes, organizing service, and visiting with families in their homes to show friendship and determine what help they might need. I seek the Lord's help to know how I might help others, and, when I am sincere in my strivings, I feel his hand directing me to do good.
