Hi I'm Spencer

I'm 27, have two daughters, and come home from work tired everyday. I then write my fiction novel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I still haven't finished college after 6 years. I love to talk about movies. When people mention an obscure movie I get excited when I've actually seen it. I build crowns and implants for work. So when I'm working I can think about movies, and how actors in those movies connect the movies. I tred from movie to movie remembering the funniest and best parts. I pretty much have a smile on my face all day. I'm the middle child of nine kids so I suffer from middle child syndrome. Which means I feel left out and short changed when attention was paid. Luckily, my wife also suffered as I did. We give each other all the attention we can, constantly.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I've learned, living the principles taught by Jesus Christ, makes me happy. By living it, and seeing others not, I can see how the teachings are true and from God's plan of happiness. I know that the gospel brought my family through toughest of times. When my mom died it was hard, but knowing what happens when we die comforted me and gave me desire to live righteously to return to her and my heavenly family.

How I live my faith

As a member of the church I live differently than the 'norm'. I don't need to drink to have fun. Often I play board games. I wear a white shirt and tie to go to church. At church I take bread and water to remember Jesus's sacrifice for me. Then there is sunday school. This year i aam learning about the old testiment. I use the Book of Mormon and the Bible to understand the principles more fully. At home I read the scriptures with my family. My daugher isn't old enough to read but she can repeat a few words at a time. We pray over our meals and before bed. In the church there are many chances to serve. I can't tell you how many people I've help move. I spent two years away from home, as a missionary, I had to learn spanish. I'm glad now I did.
