Hi I'm Mark

I play volleyball. I'm an entrepreneur. I survived cancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and new father of a tiny baby boy. I love the outdoors and am a runner, cycler, volleyball player, singer, song writer, new music nerd, snowboarder, skateboarder, reader, and entrepreneur.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon home. I was taught about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ ever since I was a small child. As a teenager, I made common teenager mistakes and experienced what life was like without the protection of keeping God's commandments. As I practiced righteous living, I gained an abiding testimony that God loves me and has a plan for me to be happy. Although I make mistakes, I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ, I can repent and be forgiven of my mistakes. I am a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Ghost witness to me that it is true. I have received answers to my prayers and feel a peace and confidence that God is aware of me and wants me to be happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being active in my ward. My job is to teach the 17 & 18 year old boys every Sunday. This is a great chance for me to teach the principals of the gospel to these young men at such a crucial time in their lives. To me, it's very satisfying to know I am helping young people make choices that will bless their lives forever. I love to reach out and make new friends. I love meeting new people and if the time is appropriate, share with them some of my feelings about the church. I let people know I am Mormon and try to live as an example of what Mormons believe.
