Hi I'm Clark

I'm a sports enthusiast, I'm an accountant, I love the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of two beautiful children and a husband to a lovely wife. I work as an accountant, and I have a very demanding work schedule that often times requires me to be away from what I love most, my family. I grew up actively involved in sports and as a result, today I consider myself a sports enthusiast infatuated with College Football, College Basketball, the NBA, and the NFL. I enjoy the outdoors including camping and hiking with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family with 6 other siblings. I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints when I was 8 years old. My parents always taught me from a young age the teachings of Jesus Christ and my older siblings were always good examples to me and faithful followers of the the Mormon faith. While I was baptized a member of the Mormon faith at an early age, there came a point in my life when I had to find out for myself whether the things I had been taught by my parents and older siblings were true. There were so many things around me in the world that contradicted the teachings of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Prophets of the Bible and Book of Mormon. Torn with not having a sure knowledge of what I was being taught was true, I made the decision to pray to my Father in Heaven to ask him if the things I had been taught from the Bible and Book of Mormon were indeed true and if the teachings were something that He wanted me to follow. While praying the Holy Ghost confirmed to me the truthfulness of the teachings I was taught from the Bible and Book of Mormon. Today I am grateful for that answer to my prayer as it has provided me with a knowledge of the purpose of this life and where I came from, why I am here, and where I will be going. I know that today we are led and guided by a present day Prophet who receives revelation from our Father in Heaven to direct the affairs of His Church. I am especially grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and I know that He suffered and died for us that we may be forgiven of our sins. I know that Jesus Christ lives today. I am also encouraged to know that our Father in Heaven has a plan for each of us and that someday I will be able to live together with my family in the life to come. I'm extremely grateful to know of these truths and that I can teach them to my children to provide them with a knowledge of the teachings and principles of our Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by freely giving of my time and serving as a leader to the young men of my congregation. I'm actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America troops that are sponsored by the Mormon church in my community and I enjoy helping the young men work on advancing through the ranks of the scouting program. I meet regularly with other leaders of young men of the Mormon Faith and plan activities such as camp-outs, service projects, and Sunday School lessons for the young men. I fulfill my role as a Father of the home and actively strive to be a good example and role model to my children and my wife.
