Hi I'm Lee

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah and now live in Washington.

About Me

I am a software development lead and fax technology consultant. I am self-employed and also work for a fax modem manufacturer. I enjoy spending time with my family at home as well as taking them on day hikes. After serving a full-time mission in Chile, South America I now serve with the local hispanic unit in my area.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are faithful members of the church, and they taught me the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My earliest testimony of the truthfulness of the Church came from believing in their words and following their teachings and example. However, arriving at the age of 16, I recognized the importance of establishing a greater testimony beyond the one I had acquired from the love of my parents. Thus, I emphasized the importance of scripture study and personal prayer, and I sought-out divine guidance and a surety that my membership and activity in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was what God wanted for me. I did not receive the visitation of an angel, and I did not hear voices or see a vision, however, the Holy Spirit repeatedly confirmed to me month after month and year after year of the truthfulness of the Church. I subsequently chose to serve a full-time mission in order to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and although I hope that through the service others were brought to know the truth that I knew, I do believe that my service did more for me in teaching me humility, love, and charity than I ever taught to anyone else. After serving my mission I have strived to live my life as directed by the Holy Spirit, and my testimony is strengthened as I see the blessings from the Lord come into my life as I make decisions in harmony with divine revelation.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the leadership of a hispanic church unit. I also serve as a supervisor for the teaching of our high-school age youth in early-morning religion classes. I spend time regularly and frequently with my children and family in teaching them the truths that have been taught to me.
