Hi I'm Mindi

I have three wonderful children. I love being a mom. I take care of special needs kids for a living. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am third of six children. The youngest child in the family is mentally handicapped. Four out of six of us served missions. I introduced my husband to the gospel when we were dating. He joined the church four months after we got married. I have a family of my own now. I have three children. I am very happy and content.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS Church all my life. I am a member of the church partly because this is the religion my parents raised me in. As I grew into adulthood, I continued my membership in the church because I know the fullness of Jesus Christ's gospel is on the earth. I can honestly say I am a member of the Church because I know it is true. I am not proud to be a member of the LDS Church, I am grateful for it. There is so much peace in your life when you understand who you are and why you are here on the earth. I know God lives and He loves us. He wants us to be happy be living His commandments.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a lifestyle. I am always thinking of ways to help others and bettering myself. I want to be like Jesus and I hope others can see that in me. I don't want to just say I am a Christian. I want it to be evident in the way I act as well. In my church group I help out with humanitarian projects and I take care of the 2 to 3 year old children.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Mindi
No one is forced to serve a mission. It is encouraged. I served a mission because I knew it was the right path for me. I know where I was called to serve was through divine inspiration. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to serve a mission. I gained a love for my fellow man by serving, interacting and teaching. Even though a mission is difficult, I loved it and I am so grateful I accepted the call to serve. Show more Show less
